2. Brindavan Gardens

3. Chamundi Hills
This small hill is popular for 11Th century temple and a great tourist spot here. It has a tall statue, which is constructed with one large rock. The temple is more renowned for the lovely natural beauty covering the temple. One has to climb 1000 stairs to reach the temple but makes the tiring journey worthy.
4. Karanji Lake
If you are visiting Chamundi Hill, you must visit Karanji Lake. This lake is situated on the foot of the hills. It is an important bird-watching spot for starters as around 90 varied species of birds located in this area. There is a small park surrounding the lake, which is a perfect spot for spending quality time.
5. Mysore Zoo
Very close to Karanji Lake, you can find Shri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden. It is known among locals as Mysore Zoo. You can find lot of wonderful species of animals here. If you are visiting with your family, then this must be your place.
6. St. Philomena Church
This 200-year-old also known as St. Joseph’s Church has a Gothic styled church, which is one of the largest Cathedrals in the country. St. Philomena is a Greek saint of 3rd century is devoted to him. Apart from the believers, many people go to the church to admire the architecture and explore the whole church.
7. Shivanasamudra Falls
This waterfall is the most exciting and loved one in the country. The water plummet 90m creating an eye catching scenic spot. This is an island town, which is well received among local and foreign visitors. Although it is isolated from the city but you can always see tourists here.
